CANCELLATION POLICY
The guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival. If the guest doesn?t show up they will be charged the total price.
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
A booking constitutes a legally binding contract between the person offering their card details and The Malt House.
Once a reservation is made any changes, such as a reduction of days or changes of dates or rooms, is deemed a cancellation and the standard cancellation charges shall apply.
The person offering their card details is liable to The Malt House for all final balances of each room secured.
For example, if you book 3 rooms (1 for you and 2 further rooms for 2 friends) and offer The Malt House your card for payment, you will be liable for the entire cost of each room, should the other guests fail to comply with any of our terms.
For bookings of non-consecutive days (example: 2 nights booked one week then 3 nights booked the next week), each group of days booked is treated as a separate booking and the cancellation policy for each booking will apply.
Guests failing to arrive on the first day of visit and having omitted to inform The Malt House of their delay shall be considered to have cancelled their booking and the standard cancellation charges shall apply.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
A valid payment card is required at the time of booking in order to secure reservations.
We do not take reservations without a card.
CARD CHARGES:
0% Credit Cards, 0% Debit Cards. We do not accept Cheques.
By providing us with your card details you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, as outlined on our website, including our Cancellation Policy and No Smoking Policy.
INSURANCE
Under these terms, you will face charges should you cancel, postpone or curtail your booking due to illness, injury, inability to travel, weather, work or family commitments or any other reason. As such we urge you to insure your booking. If you already have an insurance policy in place please check that this provides the correct level of cover, as you may lose your deposit or incur cancellation charges up to 100% of the cost of your visit. DAMAGES
The card holder will be liable for any costs, loss or damage incurred by The Malt House, including without limitation any loss or damage to the room, premises or property or incurred by guests or third party, arising from your failure to comply with this policy and The Malt House reserves the right to charge the card you offered when making the reservation for any such costs, loss or damage.
CHECK-IN TIMES
4pm – 9pm Unless Guests contacts the Malt House directly to arrange arrival outside these times.
Guests requiring an alternative check-in time must contact The Malt House directly on 07587 465 004 as extra staff may need to be brought in to accommodate arrivals outside our normal reception desk hours.
We can not guarantee entry to guests arriving outside 4pm-9m who have not previously arranged it with us.

Sat-Sun 11:00
Guests who do no vacate their rooms will be charged an additional ?20.00 for the 1st additional hour and the full value of the room rate thereafter. This charge will be levied against the card used to secure the booking.

Number Of Floors: 3 (stairs only , no lifts)
CHILDREN
Children over 12 are welcome.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.
Smoking inside The Malt House will incur damage costs. Anyone smoking inside the building or out of the windows will be asked to leave immediately without refund. In addition, a cleaning fee of ?100 plus the charge of loss of income will be automatically levied to the card used to secure the booking.
